Shane and Alan are 'city boys' who moved to the rolling farm lands  of Ontario in the spring of 2008.  Our new home stands on 2 acres, and is surrounded by fields of wheat, and pastures where horses graze and run free.

We fell in love with the peace and tranquillity of life here.  Since we moved, we have completely renovated and landscaped.

An ideal and elegant home, perfect for a romantic weekend get-away, Serenity Ranch Bed and Breakfast is open year-round.  You are always assured of a warm welcome and luxurious accommodations.

Shane is well-travelled, and has extensive experience in hospitality and entertainment. His many skills have transformed our new surroundings into what is now known as Serenity Ranch. He is friendly and outgoing.

A Newfoundlander, he has many Maritime stories to tell and  is an expert chef whose meals range from 'down home good' to elegant. A romantic dinner is not a problem!

Alan is more reserved.  A surgeon of many talents, he spends his days in surgury and leaves all that at the hospital to relax at the ranch. He has a passion for photography and is very good at it.

Shelby is our dog - a Golden Doodle who thinks that she is human.  She is very gentle and great with children.  Mel is our cat who keeps the entire neighbourhood mouse-free.

Come and share our peace and tranquility!

Serenity Ranch is just west of the historic village of Ancaster, midway between Hamilton and Brantford.

We are situated in one of Ontario's many beautiful Greenbelts. Surrounded by                          farmlands, you are certain to discover the peace and relaxation that Serenity Ranch provides.
